Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Jared Veltkamp, doing business as LOWRaudio ("LOWRaudio," "we," "us," or "our"), collects, uses, and shares personal information when you visit lowraudio.com (the "Site"), purchase or use our software products, or sign up for our newsletter. It also describes the rights you have over your personal information.
We are the "controller" of your personal data for the purposes of the EU and UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and a "business" for the purposes of the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the CPRA (CCPA).

1. Information we collect
We collect the following categories of personal information:
- Information you give us. Your email address when you join our newsletter; and your name, email address, and billing details when you purchase a product. Payment card details are entered directly with our payment processor and are not stored by us.
- Order & license information. Records of the products you buy, your license keys, and the devices on which your license is activated.
- Support information. The contents of any messages you send us and our replies.
- Information collected automatically. When you visit the Site we may collect limited technical data such as your IP address, browser type, device type, referring pages, and interactions with the Site. With your consent we use analytics cookies for this (see Cookies & analytics and our Cookie Policy).
2. How we use it
- To process and deliver your orders, issue license keys, and provide downloads and updates.
- To provide customer support and respond to your enquiries.
- To send you our newsletter and marketing emails, where you have asked to receive them.
- To operate, secure, and improve the Site and our products, including measuring usage with analytics.
- To prevent fraud and abuse, and to comply with our legal and tax obligations.
3. Legal bases for processing (GDPR / UK GDPR)
- Performance of a contract — to deliver products, licenses, and support you have purchased.
- Consent — for newsletter/marketing emails and for analytics cookies. You can withdraw consent at any time.
- Legitimate interests — to secure and improve the Site and prevent fraud, balanced against your rights.
- Legal obligation — to keep records required by tax and accounting law.
4. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us run our business, under contracts that require them to protect it. These include:
- Payments & order fulfillment — Lemon Squeezy, our merchant of record, which handles checkout, payment processing, sales tax, license-key delivery, and order receipts.
- Email & newsletter — Supabase (where we store newsletter sign-ups).
- Website hosting — Vercel, which serves the website.
- Database, authentication & file storage — Supabase.
- Analytics — our analytics provider (currently being selected), where you consent.
We may also disclose information where required by law, to enforce our agreements, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
5. Cookies & analytics
We use strictly necessary cookies to run the Site, and — only with your consent — analytics cookies to understand how the Site is used. We do not load non-essential cookies or analytics until you accept them in our cookie banner. You can change your choice at any time using the "Cookie settings" link in the footer. 6. Data retention
We keep order and license records for as long as needed to support your purchase and to meet legal/tax requirements (typically up to 7 years). Newsletter data is kept until you unsubscribe. Analytics data is retained for the period set with our analytics provider.
7. International transfers
We are based in the United States, and our service providers may process data in the United States and other countries. Where we transfer personal data out of the EEA or the UK, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses (and the UK Addendum) or an equivalent approved mechanism.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you;
- Correct inaccurate data;
- Delete your data ("right to be forgotten");
- Restrict or object to certain processing;
- Receive your data in a portable format;
- Withdraw consent at any time; and
- Lodge a complaint with your data protection authority (in the EU/UK).

9. California privacy rights (CCPA/CPRA)
California residents have the right to know what personal information we collect, use, and disclose; to request deletion or correction; and to be free from discrimination for exercising these rights. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under the CCPA, and we do not use sensitive personal information for purposes that require a right to limit. 10. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
11. Children
The Site and our products are not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has given us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the new version here and update the "Last updated" date above. Material changes will be communicated where required by law.
